POSITION SUMMARY
The Quality Manager is responsible for driving and maintaining excellence in product and process quality for the Rosenbauer Minnesota entities, ensuring compliance with company standards, regulatory regulations and customer expectations. This role also involves close collaboration with the Head of Quality RBA, to ensure alignment and implementation of Rosenbauer America and Rosenbauer International quality initiatives at the site level. The Quality Manager will manage and lead the Quality Control, Test Pit, Detail, and Ship Prep teams to complete their responsibilities. This will include maintaining ISO 9001 Certification and developing/implementing any programs or tools to continuously improve the overall Quality Management System.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- Quality Assurance, Process Control & Continuous Improvement:
- Develop, implement and sustain robust process controls to ensure consistent product quality
- Establish and develop quality assurance, including inspection plans, testing methods, acceptance criteria
- Drive preventive measures by proactively identifying risks through data analysis and process audits
- Ensure timely and effective resolution of quality issues by leading root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventive actions
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators related to product and process quality, reporting trends and initiating improvements where required
- Collaborate with production, engineering and supply chain to integrate quality initiatives into all stages of the production process
- Manage Corrective Action / Preventative Action (CAPA) program and drive long-term resolutions
- Quality Management System:
- Oversee and maintain compliance with ISO 9001 standard as Lead Auditor
- Ensure proper documentation, implementation and monitoring of the quality management system
- Conduct regular internal audits and facilitate external audits by certification bodies (e.g. ULC/VIP)
- Department Objectives
- Manage and oversee the workflow, scheduling, and output of the Quality Control, Test Pit, Detailing, and Ship Prep teams
- Schedule and coordinate internal and 3rd party testing of Apparatus
- Implement quality control programs to improve quality (e.g. calibrating tools, certifying gages, and managing UL certifications)
- Maintain training and department knowledge level to ensure compliance with the NFPA Standard
- Verify all In-Process and Quality Control inspections (e.g. QC Final, QC Final Audit, and CFI Final Audit) have been completed for each truck, with clear documentation provided to the Project Manager
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required by the Director of Operations to meet the needs of the department

Salary : $85,000 - $110,000
