Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Procurement Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be an industry expert in either indirect procurement or food materials directly affected by commodity markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to optimize cost, quality, and delivery of goods and services.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities in commodity markets.
- Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships to ensure the best terms and conditions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
- Monitor and manage procurement budgets, ensuring compliance with financial targets.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement processes and performance.
- Manage, coach, and develop a high-performing procurement team, fostering a culture of positivity and continuous improvement.
- Multiply possibilities by leveraging innovative procurement strategies and market insights.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in strategic procurement, with a focus on indirect procurement or food materials.
- In-depth knowledge of commodity markets.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
Preferred Skills:
- Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CPSM, CSCP).
- Experience with risk management and mitigation strategies.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
