Job Description: We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Front Desk Receptionist/Insurance Coordinator to join our team. We are looking for a "SUNNY, FRIENDLY PEOPLE PERSON"- someone who likes to engage with people in a friendly manner, while multi tasking in our busy office. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk, Insurance verification, claims processing, and providing excellent customer service to our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients with a warm and friendly, cheerful demeanor.
- Manage appointment scheduling, cancellations, and rescheduling.
- Answer phone calls, address patient inquiries, and provide information as needed.
- Verify patient information and insurance details.
- Handle patient registration and check-in/check-out processes.
- Process billing and insurance claims accurately.
- Follow up claims that need additional efforts for approvals.
- Organization of charts, and EOBs as needed
- Assist with administrative tasks and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a dental office/ medical office is required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in using computer systems and office software, training will be provided.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities are a must.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling patient information.
- Positive attitude and a team player.
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is a plus.
Working Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 8:00 am-6pm.; Friday 9am-1pm
No Wednesdays, No weekends.
