What are the responsibilities and job description for the Contracts Specialist position at Rotork?
Job Description
In the Contracts Specialist role, you will be the first and primary point of contact for customer escalations, changes to scope, and requests to expedite delivery within our Service team.
Reporting to the National Service Manager, this role will resolve and investigate customer quality complaints, ensuring customer expectations are managed through to resolution, and by obtaining the order status, milestone tracking, and order receipt through order acknowledgement until final shipment.
While liaising between all departments (sales, engineering, quality, production) within Rotork factories, this person will ensure the fulfilment of customer requirements and use negotiation skills with both customers and internal departments regarding delivery or special requirements.
Qualifications
Experience Requirements:
- Strong Customer Service experience with 3 years’ experience in a relevant role and/or industry
- Experience in using ERP and CRM Systems
- Degree or Engineering/ Technical Qualification (or equivalent) preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office to quickly learn & utilize business software and internal programs
- Proficiency in data analysis and leveraging analytics for sales strategy development

- Ability to interact with customers on routine basis and must demonstrate a high level of customer service
- Must be thorough, accurate, and organized, with a strong attention to detail
- Proactive approach to challenges in order to find solutions to customer issues
