Marina Operations Specialist

Duties & Responsibilities

· Conduct boat deliveries to customers in a timely and safe manner, adhering to all safety regulations and guidelines.

· Assess and repair boat lifts, including identifying mechanical issues, troubleshooting problems, and implementing appropriate solutions.

· Perform routine maintenance on boat lifts and associated equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety.

· Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs, address concerns, and provide technical guidance and support.

· Maintain accurate records of boat deliveries, repair assessments, troubleshooting activities, and customer interactions.

· Collaborate with the team to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and improve customer satisfaction.

· Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times to ensure a secure and compliant work environment.

· Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and best practices related to boat delivery, boat lift repair, and troubleshooting techniques.

· Assist in other marine operations tasks, such as boat maintenance, fueling, and inventory management, as needed.

· Assist customers and sell products or services on an as needed basis.

Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Minimum of 2 years of experience in marine operations, boat delivery, and boat lift repair.

· Proficient knowledge of marine equipment, boat lift systems, and troubleshooting techniques.

· Strong understanding of safety regulations and guidelines related to marine operations.

· Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle technical issues effectively.

· Exceptional customer service skills and ability to communicate clearly and professionally.

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Valid commercial driver’s license and ability to operate a boat trailer.

Physical Demands

· Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 75 pounds) for boat deliveries and equipment handling.

· Stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including hot, cold, and wet environments.

· Physical agility to climb ladders, maneuver in tight spaces, and perform repairs on boat lifts.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
