Job Description
RoundTable Defense (RTD) is seeking a candidate that qualifies as a Defense Acquisition Program Analyst, Systems Engineer, Test Engineer, Operations Research Analyst (ORSA), or Engineer Scientist for a position supporting military tactical vehicle acquisition programs for Project Manager for the Family of Special Operations Vehicles (FOSOV) within USSOCOM. This is a hybrid work location position with on-site at the PM FOSOV office at MacDill AFB and telework. This position is an immediate fill.
Specific Responsibilities:
Develop test plans and schedules including writing Test and Evaluation Master Plans
Prepare System Evaluation Plans
Analize requirements documents to determine appropriate test criteria and develop the Requirements Traceability Matrices
Write Scope of Test/Statement of Work documents
Coordinate with various Government and Commercial Test facilities in order to plan and conduct test events
Conduct Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) analysis following developmental and operational testing
Manage numerous test articles at various test sites across the country
Plan, coordinate, and lead limited user evaluations
Analyze test reports from various test facilities to determine if system specifications and requirements were met
Conduct system research and analysis in order to prepare safety releases
Participate in system requirements and specification development to ensure the attributes are testable. Seek clarifications of vague or imprecise requirements.
Study and analyze system designs to ensure informed participation in design reviews and program reviews
Prepare test reports to clearly articulate the findings of developmental and operational testing and make fully supported recommendation of the system’s effectiveness and reliability
General Responsibilities:
Undertake and resolve complex projects through research, analysis, and the application of judgment developed from previous experience. Addresses problems that are difficult to define, require unconventional or novel approaches, and require sophisticated analytical techniques.
Required Skills And Education
Standard Requirement: Possess a Master’s degree in an engineering, scientific, or mathematical discipline with ten (10) years of general experience and six (6) years of relevant experience
Tradeoff Requirement: Possess a Bachelor’s degree in an engineering, scientific, or mathematical discipline with twelve (12) years of general experience and eight (8) years of relevant experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Security Clearance:
Active Secret clearance preferred
