This position will work on-site in Miami, Florida.
Position Summary :
The position is responsible for guiding business strategies by providing actionable recommendations based on in-depth consumer, market and product knowledge. The Consumer Insights Manager is responsible for leading a team to enable the acquisition, analysis and reporting of actionable insights using applied market research techniques, as well as in-depth knowledge of the business and consumer / market data, to drive business decisions.
The Consumer Insights Manager will partner closely with multi-functional business partners, as well as executives, to gain a deep understanding of high-level business priorities, business challenges and opportunities and will develop strategic recommendations and action plans based on the risk / reward of the opportunities.
Key Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with business partners to identify business problems and opportunities, convert them to research needs, develop research plots, design specific studies, interpret & analyze results, and persuasively communicate findings and recommendations to business partners.
- Proactively ensure business teams have superior consumer, guest, and market understanding via sharing existing learning, identifying gaps and finding ways to fill these.
- Manage and oversee the design and execution of qualitative and quantitative research techniques, including selecting and managing external experts / vendors.
- Provide the business with a deep understanding of consumer and travel agent behaviors and mindsets to aid strategic and tactical decision-making.
- Measure and track customer satisfaction and brand health to help manage business performance.
- Ensure that the Insights team represents the Voice of the Consumer in everything that we do.
- Provide strong leadership to the team through knowledge of assigned projects, ability to provide clear direction to direct reports, and effectively delegating and managing multiple tasks.
- Manage the market research budget and own the internal and external management of the market research process.
- Perform other duties as required.
