About the Position
The Grants Project Coordinator is a resourceful, detail-oriented, and collaborative team member with excellent organization and time management skills. The primary responsibility is to assist our Grants Team in organizing and developing grants from start to finish and guiding projects through the funding process. The Grants Project Coordinator is an integral member of our Grants Team who will assist with all administrative aspects of the grant process. This position will assist our team with Hurricane Helene's recovery and restoration efforts.
Here’s What You’ll Be Doing
- Assist the Grants Project Manager with Federal Emergency Management Agency Public Assistance (FEMA PA), Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), and Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities (BRIC) requirements.
- Evaluate potential problems and assist in developing solutions and improvements.
- Assist in planning and managing team goals, project schedules, and new information.
- Coordinating with all team members to keep workflow on track.
- Manage project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed, and stored.
- Provide quality control and assurance of project documents and deliverables.
- Preparing and reviewing project proposals, memos, meeting minutes, submittals, and correspondence.
- Assist in adhering to budget by monitoring expenses and reconciling project expenses.
- Assist with operating and maintaining schedule.
- Assist in reviewing and processing sub-consultant, contractor, and vendor invoices and/or contracts.
- Assist in developing invoices.
- Support with client coordination.
The Criteria for Joining Our Team
- Education: Work requires knowledge to understand basic operational, technical, or office processes. Level of knowledge equivalent to four years of a high school diploma. Secondary education is a plus. Relevant and sufficient work experience may be substituted for a high school diploma.
- Certification and License(s): Valid Drivers’ license
- Experience: Over two years of project administrative and coordination experience with FEMA/PA preferred. Similar experience in a related field will also be considered.
