Role Overview : The Activities Coordinator will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality support to residents and their families. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, you will ensure that our residents receive outstanding care across diverse settings, including long-term care, sub-acute care, and memory care. We value strong communication skills and a dedication to resident-centered care.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assist the Director of Activities in fostering residents' intellectual, emotional, and spiritual interests through individual and group activities.
  • Support in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating facility activity programs.
  • Contribute to the creation of the monthly program calendar.
  • Help develop personalized care plans for each resident's activity program.
  • Participate in discharge planning and resident assessments related to activity care plans.
  • Implement activity procedures as directed by the Activity Director.
  • Assist in scheduling programs, planning parties, and organizing games / activities for residents.
  • Encourage residents to engage in activities of daily living that enrich their physical, mental, social, and spiritual well-being.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in long-term care or other healthcare settings is a plus.
  • Experience working with Alzheimer's / Dementia patients is preferable.
  • Strong attendance and reliability.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding employee, resident, and company information.
  • Professional and positive demeanor with a knack for collaboration with residents, families, and staff.
  • Proficient computer skills to meet job requirements.
