Account Executive SUMMARY:
We are looking for a skilled, efficient "hunter" sales professional to sell directly into hospitals, Radiology imaging centers, Orthopedic facilities, and private practices (physician, vet, chiro, independent) located within the greater Chicago area building key relationships with our most important customers. You will be responsible for obtaining and maintaining long term key customers. This requires energy, passion, drive and the ability to cultivate key relationships into X-Ray sales.
Our ideal candidate will be apt in building strong relationships with a few key stakeholders: Director of Radiology (DOR), Radiologists, X-Ray Technicians, Purchasing, Biomed and many more all within the same hospital / opportunity. You will be able to identify their medical imaging needs and requirements to promote our equipment & service product lines.
Account Executive Duties and Responsibilities
- Developing a solid and trusting relationship between all potential clients and RPS
- Resolving client issues and complaints
- Developing a complete understanding of your territory / specific account needs
- Anticipating strategic account changes and improvements
- Managing communications between clients and internal RPS teams
- Leading account team assigned to each client
- Strategic planning to improve client results
- Negotiating contracts with the client and establishing a timeline of performance
- Working with sales, service, operations, & managements teams to ensure the highest quality of service is being delivered and all client needs met
- Collaborating with the sales team to maximize profit by up-selling or cross-selling
- Planning and presenting reports on account progress. Meeting your annual sales goals
- Meeting all client needs and deliverables according to proposed timelines
- Analyzing client data to provide customer relationship management
- Expanding relationships and bringing in new clients
- Attending medical imaging industry supported trade shows / events
Account Executive Requirements and Qualifications
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Goal-oriented, organized team player
- Encouraging to team and staff; able to mentor and lead
- Self-motivated and self-directed
- Excellent interpersonal relationship skills
- In-depth understanding of RPS key clients and their position in the industry
- Eager to expand the company with new sales, clients, and territories
- Able to analyze data and sales statistics and translate results into better solutions
- Previous work experience in medical imaging sales or relevant experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be a listener, a presenter, and a people-person
- Basic computer skills, and experience with SalesForce CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong negotiation skills, with ability follow-through on client contracts
- Ability to multitask and manage more than one client account
- Proven results of delivering client solutions and meeting sales goals
