Since 1996, RQC, LLC. has been a leading player in Southern California's robust commercial and governmental Design-Build economy. We now have a national presence with current projects approaching $300M, spanning coast to coast.
We are a full-service Design-Build company. We offer management of projects throughout the United States, with our field operations' team members who work on location for each of our projects. We specialize in fast-track projects in new commercial construction for both public and private clients, with a primary focus in the Department of Defense market.
We are seeking a Sr. Accountant candidate to join our Accounting/Finance team located in our Carlsbad, CA office. This position is primarily responsible for preparing and maintaining internal financial records and analysis in adherence to corporate and contract compliance. Seeking a team player with intermediate to advanced computer skills (preferred). Ability to work well under pressure, and communicate thoughts effectively. This position is temporarily remote.
Pay: $77,101 - $100,443

Education and Experience:
- A four-year degree in Accounting is the formal minimal education preferred for this position.
- Two or more years of corporate accounting work experience, including General Ledger (GL) reconciliations, data analysis, and interpretation.
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Internet, etc.) required.
- Specific accounting software literacy a plus.
- Construction accounting experience a plus.
- Multi-state sales tax experience a plus.
