SUMMARY
The PRS Supervisor is responsible for leading the positive culture in a time of evolution and adaptation. RS EDEN specializes in serving a population with complex, multi-systemic and multi-generational trauma. The work of recovery and healing is a critical part of our mission and our vision. It is required that the PRS Supervisor have a License in Drug and Alcohol Counseling or PRS certification with the ability to have the supervisor designation. Professional experience and a personal understanding of substance use disorders, and fields related to criminal justice/reentry, homelessness prevention, and mental health are needed.
Success is only possible if the leader of this team carries a passion for justice and equity and believes whole-heartedly in second chances. They should also have a strong orientation towards process and understanding of a fee-for-service business model. They will crave collaboration because they believe teams are stronger than individuals and will be energized by the experience of building a program from the ground up.
Leadership in the field of substance use disorder treatment requires the highest degree of personal and professional aptitude, including an approach that balances the need for constant innovation and adaptability alongside an attitude that is both energizing and reassuring, even in the midst of crisis. The ability to exercise effective time management, respectful boundaries, and sound judgment are essential. A candidate must be able to devote the time and energy required but understand the personal and organizational value of successful prioritization and collaboration in a fast-paced, high-needs environment.
Pay range: $27.00-$36.00/hour ($56,160-$74,880/annually)
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise all PRS staff, including both Recovery and Housing PRS
- Lead weekly team meetings with PRS team
- Audit documentation and billing for PRS staff
- Provide clinical guidance to the team, in conjunction with the Director of Programming
- Supervise Treatment Coordinator for family program
-Oversee the Women’s and Children’s Grant and manage the funds of the grant; includes attending relevant meetings for the grant, assisting in outcome reports, and acting as primary contact for the county for this grant.
-Lead regular trainings for staff such as SLF (supervised living facility) training and supporting the monthly Recovery in-house trainings
-General event planning and support, including:
- Graduations
-Recovery Events
-Staff celebrations
-Other events as needed
-Oversee relationship and process with PICA Head Start
- Participant recreation planning and support
-Holiday planning for participants
-Recreational events
-Volunteer opportunities
-Oversee vehicle maintenance
-Oversee clothing donation process for participants
-Other job duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- Demonstrated experience in administering 245G services, with a reference for program management
- LADC or PRS certification with ability to qualify for supervisor designation
- Experience in working with families and children
- Excellent management and organizational skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to relate to people from diverse backgrounds with multiple individual and systemic barriers to success
- Current Mantoux test (Annual requirement thereafter)
- Must be able to pass applicable favorable criminal history/background check
- One year off correctional supervision
- Employees directly responsible for persons being served by the program are prohibited from abusing prescription medication or being in any manner under the influence of a chemical that impairs the individual’s ability to provide services or care
- Positive driving record
- Valid driver’s license
