Director, Change Management, Global ERP Program
Today across RTX there are a variety of business processes and software platforms that support the flow of information from our customers to our factories to our suppliers and enable our ability to report and analyze our collective performance. This combination of process and tools is commonly called Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). In support of the future of RTX the enterprise has begun an ERP transformation journey to optimize business processes, enable data strategy, and implement a common approach to our next generation ERP software - SAP/S4 Hana.
The RTX SAP/S4 Hana Program Management Office team is focused on setting up the framework and executing RTX ERP Transformation partnering with Corporate and Business Units. We will drive customer and financial performance through technological advancements, data insights and process optimization.
The Director, Change Management will be an integral member of the ERP Program Management team. They will develop and implement change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage of required changes to drive faster adoption and higher utilization of changes. The role will communicate across all business units and functions at all levels of the organization to ensure the organization is aware of changes and decisions being proposed, their implications and subsequently foster and drive support of these changes across all of RTX.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement an Integrated Change Management Strategy and Plan: Validate work completed to date, develop, socialize and execute against clear change management strategy and plan that maximizes employee adoption and usage and minimizes resistance
- Assess and Validate the Scope and Impact of the Required Change: Utilizing a clear methodology, review the holistic scope of this transformation project across the impacted technology and business areas. This includes understanding the depth of business process change, potential issues with technology adoption and degree of effort required to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization of and proficiency with the changes that impact employees.
- Coordinate and Integrate Effectively with All Other Project Activities: Ensure that the change management team is aware and actively contributes to all other project activities as appropriate to ensure the change impact is considered in all aspects of this system implementation, across all relevant workstreams and stakeholders. This includes each of the business units, as well as functional workstreams within Finance, Operations & Supply Chain, and Legal.
- External vendor management: The ERP/process transformation project involves significant interaction and engagement with external consultants and business partners in support of key decision analyses, team organizational structure, identification of industry best practices, workshop facilitation activities and so forth. To ensure the project objectives are met on time and on budget, this position will need to work with these various business partners on a day-to-day basis.

- Integration of change management activities into the larger project plan
- Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress
- Create actionable deliverables for all change management plans and mitigation tactics for resistance
- Evaluate and ensure user readiness
- Supporting and engaging senior leaders
- Coaching people managers and supervisors
Required Qualifications:
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 14 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 12 years experience
- Experience with and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
- Experience with large scale organizational change efforts, preferably prior experience with ERP implementation
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and influence others within all levels of management and with third parties.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with and through others
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple priorities with limited oversight
- Ability to articulate clear messages to a variety of audiences
- Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal

- Strong knowledge MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of SAP
