Compensation Consultant
This position is based in Palo Alto, CA and reports to the Director of Global Compensation.
Core Job & Project Responsibilities
- Serve as primary point of contact for assigned organizations, utilizing compensation expertise to provide guidance on various compensation related issues.
- Lead VP position benchmarking including scoping / leveling, total compensation recommendation for new hires, promotions, annual reviews, and ad-hoc assessments.
- Drive compensation education strategy / roadmap and development of training materials, modules, and intranet content for managers and stakeholder groups.
- Assist in the development and / or approval of new hire offers, job change adjustments, and retention related interventions.
- Communicate changes / updates to compensation processes, policies, structures (e.g., job architecture, compensation ranges) to assigned organizations, Talent Acquisition and People Business Partners.
- Conduct regular analyses to determine the overall compensation health of organizations, locations, job families, etc., and provide recommendations for any possible corrective actions.
- Serve as back-up for equity program analyses and modeling; assist with recommendations and presentations as necessary.

The minimum and maximum base salaries for this role are posted below; additionally, the role is eligible for bonus potential, equity and benefits. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the role based on U.S. location. Within the range, the salary offered will be determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. US Pay Range $140,200 — $210,400 USD
