Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CAD Technician to join our team. The CAD Technician will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans using various software applications.
Responsibilities
- Use CAD software to create comprehensive construction plans for agricultural facilities.
- Collect on-site data and measurements needed to design and layout steel framed and lumber buildings.
- Assist with project presentations, on-site layouts of buildings, and material estimation.
- Collaborate with clients and sales associates to develop design plans for various agricultural facilities/buildings to create accurate quotes.
- Work and communicate with building suppliers.
- Assist project managers and foremen to ensure the correct building/facility layout.
Requirements
- Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, and Sketchup
- Basic knowledge and use of Microsoft Office programs
- Associate's degree in Engineering, CAD training, or relevant work experience that demonstrates skills needed for this position
- Willingness to learn the Total Positioning System utilized for building layouts.
- Physically able to safely navigate job sites regardless of their conditions and terrains.
