THE ROLE : Human Resources Generalist
We're looking for...
The Human Resources Generalist is an integral part of a very hands-on and fast-paced team at our Fulfillment center in Shepherdsville, KY (ONSITE). The person in this highly visible role will assist with the day-to-day Associate engagement, exhibit broad HR knowledge, administer company policies and offer support to the Management team. The person in this role will maintain confidentiality while providing a high level of service to associates.
What You'll Do :
- Facilitates new hire orientation and assists in processing new hire onboarding paperwork as needed.
- Be the face of the People Team. Actively engaging with Associates and Management Team in the Warehouse up to 2 hours per day, to create a positive and supportive work environment.
- Lead company recognition programs and monthly engagement events.
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave of absence; handle employee relations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Responsible for employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and / or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
