Rugby Manufacturing is looking for an Office Admin Assistant. Starting wage is between $18.00 and $20.00 depending on experience. Rugby is North America's leading designer and manufacturer of Class 3-5 dump truck bodies, landscape bodies, platform bodies, truck and trailer hoists, related truck equipment and accessories.
Job Summary:
- Perform standard office duties involving record keeping, scanning of documents
- Maintain MS excel files for various reporting
- Assisting the Sales team with the following:
- Researching questions regarding order status, lead times, pricing
- Completing accurate estimates/quotes in a timely manner
- Enter customer orders accurately, verifying pricing and scheduling on the date requested by the distributor
- Contacting potential and current customers regarding products and promotions
- Cross train in the Shipping Department to assist with incoming and outgoing loads when needed
- Assisting the Warranty Department with the following:
- Handle warranty claims as directed by the Warranty Manager
- Tracking warranty claims
- Filing and scanning closed claims
- Scanning production quality sheets as needed
- Other duties as assigned that will impact the departments and Rugby Mfg.
Tools Used: Computer, MS Office software and related business system software, printers, copier, calculator, and telephone
Environment: Office environment, occasional production floor to familiarize with products
Job Requirements:
- Two years of computer and office experience or education in a related field
- Clear and precis oral and written communication skills
- Ability to deal effectively and professionally by phone with customers promoting positive company image using strong communication/presentation skills
- Ability to embrace continuous improvement to question and evaluate systems/procedures for the most efficient uses, better communications, and process improvement on an ongoing basis.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Strong reasoning and independent decision-making skills
- High energy and enthusiasm – not easily discouraged
- Proficiency in computer applications (Microsoft Office)
- Detail oriented, highly organized, and able to remain focused in all environments
- Ability to attend and participate in required company meetings
- Must be a team player that maintains high integrity and works with others to meet company goals
