Overview: We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Specialist to join our Marketing team. Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer, this individual will be responsible for managing and elevating our social media presence, enhancing SEO performance, creating compelling content, and supporting key marketing initiatives. This role requires a highly organized, innovative thinker with a passion for storytelling and brand development across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management
- Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies to align with company goals.
- Create, curate, and schedule high-quality, engaging content across all social media platforms.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics, providing actionable insights to improve engagement and reach.
- Respond to comments and messages, fostering a positive and interactive online community.
Content Creation & SEO
- Document job progress through photos, videos, and written updates to highlight our work and expertise.
- Write and optimize blog posts to increase organic search rankings and drive website traffic.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistency in messaging and branding.
- Stay updated on SEO trends and best practices, integrating them into content strategies.
Newsletter & Drip Marketing Campaigns
- Create and distribute the internal company newsletter, ensuring timely delivery and relevant content.
- Design and implement email marketing campaigns, including drip campaigns, to nurture leads and drive conversions.
Graphic Design
- Design visuals and graphics for social media posts, marketing campaigns, and other materials as needed.
- Ensure all designs align with the company’s brand identity and strict branding guidelines, emphasizing a clean and minimalist style.
Podcast Support
- Assist in editing, production, and scheduling of the company podcast.
- Coordinate podcast promotion through social media, email campaigns, and other marketing channels.
Analytics & Reporting
- Track and report on social media, blog, and campaign performance metrics.
- Use data to refine strategies and demonstrate ROI on marketing initiatives.
Collaboration & Miscellaneous
- Work closely with the Marketing and Sales teams to support integrated campaigns.
- Stay up to date on social media trends, tools, and technologies.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Marketing Officer.
Qualifications Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field preferred.
- 2 years of professional experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing.
- Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Familiarity with podcast production and editing tools is a plus.
Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube) and analytics tools.

Work Environment
