The basic function of the Banking Specialist position is to provide banking support for our divisions within Rust Consulting. This position requires excellent communication and organizational skills along with the ability to work in a high pace environment. Rust Consulting is an Exela Technologies company based in Minneapolis MN. This position is mostly remote with in-office attendance required 2x per month.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Daily presented check review (Positive Pay) for 13 various banking environments.
- Process and submit check voids on a daily basis for all banks.
- Process and submit wire transfers.
- Process and reconcile check requests.
- Track and setup new Federal Tax ID's.
- Creation of new bank accounts.
- Process check inquiry requests.
- Scan and organize documents.
- Monthly activity reporting.
- Must follow and meet Key Performance Expectations (KPEs) for this role.
- All other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills required:
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of banking experience required.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and in writing.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Working knowledge of Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite - proficiency in Word and Excel.
- Able to work well in a team environment.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Positive and professional attitude.
- Banking knowledge a plus and preferred.
"The pay range for this position starts at $20/hr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Bonus opportunities may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered."
