OVERVIEW
The Dining Room Supervisor works under the General Manager and Dining Room Manager and is responsible for shift supervision of the dining room during service. Will also assist in the training of employees.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties include: Customer service: Greeting guests, resolving complaints, and ensuring guests have a positive dining experience Staff management: Recruiting, training, and supervising servers, hosts and bussers Dining room operations: Overseeing seating arrangements, reservations, and table turnover Communication: Working with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely service Inventory: Maintaining inventory of dining room supplies and coordinating restocking Budget management: Monitoring expenses and controlling costs Dining room environment: Maintaining a clean, welcoming, and efficient dining room Staff performance: Conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback to staff Dining room managers may also be responsible for: Planning dining room set-up, Inspecting staff uniforms, Attending staff meetings -Attention to detail

- Administrate all aspects of Cash Management at the restaurant
- Daily verification and deposits of cash
- Transmission of daily credit card sales for processing
- Administer all accounting procedures for point of sale to include credit cards, unit billings/unit cards, coupons, gratuities, and cash handling.
- Extend the liquor and food inventory after the manager has completed the inventory.
- Previous similar experience in a high volume restaurant preferred. Payroll and Accounting experience required.
REQUIREMENTS - A minimum of 2 years' experience with front-of-house supervising or shift lead responsibilities in a high-volume, fine dining environment - a commitment to providing exceptional service to every guest - the ability to work well with people - a background of server experience and thorough knowledge of restaurant operations. -
Compensation: $20-$25
