As the Workplace Community Manager - Operations and Logistics you have the principal responsibility for designing and delivering a remarkable workplace experience, cultivating a sense of connection and community, engaging with internal and external stakeholders, serving as an ambassador for RXR's suite of offerings, and reinforcing that RXR properties offer a safe, productive, and inspiring workplace where our tenants choose to go to every day.

This role will work closely with the EVP Marketing, SVP Marketing, SVP ESG Investments, alongside Senior RXO team members to effectuate a consistently elevated experience and increased satisfaction of our tenants. You will serve as the bridge between the physical and digital environments to ensure we are developing products and services that our tenants are craving.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Tenant Engagement
- Serve as a connector between tenants, external organizations, and the broader RXR network, actively addressing customer needs and collaborating with internal teams for effective solutions
- Serve as the ultimate workplace concierge and central touchpoint of hospitality
- Cultivate a warm and welcoming lobby experience and best in class environment for all tenants and their guests
- Act as a source of knowledge for both building and community information
- Serve as a connector between tenants, outside organizations and the broader RXR network
- Develop a sense of connection, purpose and community within our buildings
- Listen to what our customers are saying (both directly and indirectly) in terms of needs and wants, and work hand-in-hand with cross functional internal teams to ensure that needs are being addressed and met
- Manage the tenant onboarding process for both new and returning tenants (post-Covid)
Programming & Event Planning
- Curate and execute inspiring virtual and in person events, programming, installations, and activations inspired by local and industry trends, managing all aspects from set-up, breakdown and on-site assistance for in-person events, ensuring smooth execution and a positive attendee experience
- Measure the success of programs and events from beginning to end and identify opportunities for ongoing procedural improvements
Community Engagement (external)
- Understand and maintain the pulse of the local community of which you are responsible. Research and broker relationships with community partners, local businesses and stakeholders to create ongoing hyper-local community engagement opportunities.
- Work with RXR strategic partners and vendors to develop new service offerings for our tenants and their employees
Research Continuous Improvement
- Observe customer interaction across touch points and identify areas for improvement and/or a reduction in friction
- Work with the digital product team at RXR's innovation "lab" to improve our technology & data products, sharing your insights on how RXR can provide better experiences and greater efficiencies
- Hospitality
- Serve as the ultimate concierge, acting as a central hub for hospitality and knowledge about the building and community
- Vendor Management and CRM Maintenance
- Collaborate with vendors to ensure the smooth execution of workplace initiatives, events, and amenities while maintaining strong relationships. Simultaneously, manage and update the vendor Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to ensure accurate and current information for effective communication and collaboration
- Curriculum Development
- Devise an annual curriculum aligning with RXR's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) as well as Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) goals. Implement programs that foster a diverse and sustainable workplace culture
Metrics and Data Capture:
- Develop and implement strategies to capture relevant metrics through events, surveys, and other research methods. Analyze collected data to evaluate the impact of initiatives on workplace experience, supporting the advocacy for partnerships, amenities, or services
Reporting:
- Create comprehensive reports based on gathered data, offering valuable insights into the effectiveness of workplace programs. Present findings to relevant stakeholders
Budget Management:
- Manage budget-related administrative tasks for workplace initiatives, including tracking and saving invoices to ensure comprehensive financial documentation. Verify and account for all relevant expenses
- Interdepartmental Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including property management, marketing and leasing, to ensure alignment of events and initiatives with broader company goals, placing a specific emphasis on supporting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) metrics
IDEAL EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
- This position is ideal for a candidate interested in marketing, communications, and hospitality, seeking to gain tangible industry experience in a highly creative, collaborative, ever-changing and fast-paced environment.
- 2-3 years of experience in a customer-facing role required
- Excellent listening, speaking, verbal and written communication skills and the ability to build positive and professional relationships
- Experience with managing multiple projects end to end and being able to multitask under pressure and prioritize work to ensure it is completed under intense deadlines
- Have worked on outreach campaigns to increase awareness of a brand, service, or product and supported the creation of marketing materials and content
- Experience working on a team, and independently to execute unique programming and events
