Ryan Companies US, Inc. has an immediate career opportunity for a Manager of Construction Operations - Accounting at our Minneapolis headquarters location!
We are seeking self-motivated and professional candidate to support all financial aspects of our construction line of business with a clear understanding of Ryan's processes and procedures. This role reports directly to the Director of Construction Accounting (Controller) and will lead a diverse team of professionals.
This position requires 4 days per week in the office, with 1 day of remote work each week.
Some things you can expect to do:
Oversee the Textura system for subcontractors including direct handling of key payments.
Administer the construction travel program in compliance with Ryan policies and regulatory requirements.
Manage overall company lien waiver compliance.
Direct the subcontract qualification program and ongoing monitoring of strategic subcontractors' financial health including advanced financial statement review.
Collaborate with Finance Technology and Operational Excellence to drive unique approaches to continuously improve and drive change.
Provide oversight to construction cash flow projections and daily cash receipts.
Actively partner with Operational Excellence to improve operational tools for project maintenance, project close, profit projections, and time tracking.
Prepare standard costing buildups and facilitate annual bill rate updates.
Support yard operations for proper job costing of equipment rentals.
Provide guidance for proper job set-up related to warranty, subguard default insurance, and offset jobs.
Support management of project applications and annual analysis of rates.
Collaborate with project teams, construction accountants, and Operational Excellence to improve AR collections and reporting.
Display a strong aptitude for creating trainings and communicating with operations.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting and/or finance.
5 years of related experience, with strong knowledge of construction industry accounting principles.

Positions require verification of employment eligibility to work in the U.S.
Compensation:
The annual base pay is $108,500 - $162,800. The base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission and/or an incentive program.
