Job Description
We are seeking a skilled QA/QC Specialist with OSHPD-1 experience to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and high-quality standards in our construction projects. This role is crucial in maintaining project integrity, ensuring safety, and delivering top-tier construction services.
Responsibilities
- Oversee quality assurance and control processes on OSHPD -1 construction projects.
- Ensure all work complies with California Building Codes, OSHPD (HCAI), DSA, and project specifications.
- Conduct inspections, audits, and quality control checks to identify and resolve issues.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and inspectors to maintain quality standards.
- Document and track quality issues, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and corrective actions.
- Assist in developing and implementing QA/QC plans, procedures, and best practices.
- Review submittals, RFIs, and construction drawings to ensure compliance.
- Provide training and guidance to project teams on QA/QC requirements.
- Maintain detailed records and reports for regulatory compliance and project documentation.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in QA/QC for commercial construction.
- Direct experience with OSHPD-1 is required.
- Strong knowledge of California Building Codes, Title 24, and regulatory compliance.
- Certified Special Inspector (ICC, ACI) or other QA/QC-related certifications preferred.
- Experience in healthcare, education, or institutional construction is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in QA/QC documentation, reporting tools, and construction management software.
