- Establish and maintain a collaborative relationship between the office of Data Governance and Modernization and the Agency Workforce Development team. This includes, but not limited to, routine stakeholder meetings and updates with agency Workforce Development Director and participating in the workforce development committee.
- Assists in the assessment, documentation, and reporting of the needs and identification of opportunities to improve data literacy and data science skills of workforce. This may include the curation of accredited and competency-based trainings to provide recommendations for the upskilling current staff. May also include coordinating the partnership with academic institutions and technology training programs for onboarding the persons with data science talent.
- Identify and help implement projects to increase the data science skillsets of current employees and facilitate the sharing of best practices in data analytics and data quality through the development of an agency data analytics community of practice.
- This position participates in Data governance trainings, CDC sponsored data modernization learning community, or national community of practice work groups.
- Completes other duties assigned. All employees will be available for work duties when emergency events occur and will respond as assigned.
