Job Overview
We are looking for a part-time Janitor in the Lacombe, Louisiana area. Work will be performed at the OLE Lacombe, LA RAC Office, 61387 Hwy 434, Lacombe, LA 70445. This position reports to the Chief Executive Officer.
Work Schedule
Workdays: One day per week on Monday thru Friday
Work Hours: 4 hours per day between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm CST
· Work schedule will be set upon hire
Duties and Responsibilities
- Sweep all floors.
- Mop all tile floors using a cleaning disinfectant, and clean hardwood floors.
- Clean baseboards and corners.
- Vacuum all carpets
- Empty all wastebaskets, reline, and put trash in dumpster.
- Vacuum and clean interior and exterior floor mats.
- Empty and reline restrooms wastebaskets with bags.
- Clean and disinfect all surfaces of restroom sinks, toilet bowls, lavatories, partitions, doors, walls and other such surfaces.
- Keep sinks and toilet bowls free from scale and mildew.
- Disinfect underside and tops of toilet seats.
- Sweep, wet mop and disinfect floor.
- Clean mirrors.
- Restock restroom supplies.
- Clean windows inside and outside twice per year.
Qualifications for Janitor
- Must possess one year of experience in janitorial services.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to communicate in English – to read and interpret written information; ability to write clear statements; ability to communicate orally.
- Ability to observe safety and security procedures and to comply with policies.
- Must be able to do physical work and operate equipment normally found in janitorial operations.
- Must be able to manage time efficiently and to work individually as well as within a team.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $17.75 per hour
