Position Summary
The Social Service (SS) and Life Enrichment Administrative Assistant position provides a professional and supportive role to the Vice President of Social Services and Vice President of Life Enrichment, answers department inquiries, completes administrative tasks, participates in project support, and support the function of the Company as assigned while utilizing established standards of practice set forth by the Company's administration as well as social service and life enrichment policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently completes work such as typing, maintaining spreadsheets, mailing as needed, etc.
- Maintains administrative workflow as assigned.
- Maintains rapport with customers, managers, and employees as a representative of the Social Service and Life Enrichment Departments of the Company.
- Completes administrative and department projects such as auditing logs, electronic records, other assigned audits, etc.
- Completes and/or attends all training and education as assigned and as otherwise required by applicable law, rule, or regulations.
- Adheres to the Company's Code of Conduct, Business Ethics policy, HIPAA Privacy, and Security policies and procedures, including documentation and reporting responsibilities.
- Maintain regular attendance, unless excused under the Company's attendance policy, and/or as required under the Family and Medical Leave Act, or as a reasonable accommodation under the Americans with Disabilities Act, or as excused under other applicable law, with advance notice of absence as required by Company policy to the extent permitted by applicable law.
- Must possess basic computer knowledge with an aptitude to learn the company software, Microsoft, Excel, etc.
- Skilled in organizational astuteness.
- The proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision and assistant.
- The ability to work within a fast-paced environment, multitask and be adaptable to change.
- The ability to interface with multiple levels of the Company and to serve as a team player.
- Strong facilitation and written/verbal communication skills.
- Ability to safely perform the essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant sucha action.
- Must possess the ability and willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel.
- Must be able to cope with the mental, emotional, and physical stress of the position.
- Must have related administrative experience at a level necessary to accomplish the job.
- Experience in the healthcare industry, long term care preferred.
