SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists in training personnel as needed or as directed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Financial Data: May include a variety of activities related to entering and maintaining accurate financial records and supporting documentation by recording financial transactions such as verifying invoices for purchases, invoicing customers, cash applications of receipts, and payments to suppliers.
- Reconciliation: Ensuring that financial records are accurate and consistent by reconciling bank statements, accounts payable and receivable, and other financial data.
- Cash Management: Monitoring and managing cash position to ensure the company has adequate funds to meet its daily financial obligations.
- Software and Systems: Utilizing ERP and accounting software and other tools to efficiently perform tasks and maintain organized financial records. This includes being a subject matter expert on applicable subsystems and business process to support other departments.
- Collaboration: Working closely with other departments, such as operations, purchasing, logistics and human resources, to provide financial information and support decision-making.
- Audit Support: Assisting auditors during financial and banking audits to provide necessary documentation and explanation of business activities.
- Financial Analysis: Conducting various financial analyses, such as ratio analysis and trend analysis, to evaluate the company's financial health and performance.
OTHER DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Problem Solving: Identifying and resolving discrepancies or financial issues promptly to maintain accurate financial records.
- Continuous Improvement: Proactively seeking ways to improve personal skill sets along with and identifying and supporting improved business processes.
- Process control: Adhere to corporate procedures to support safeguarding of company assets, prevention of fraud, and adherence to quality, environmental, health and safety requirements.
- Backup Support: Provide backup support to other team members or departments when needed. This may involve assisting with tasks or responsibilities during peak periods, employee absences, or as directed by management.

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE/TRAINING
- Three to five years of related experience.

- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
