SafeHaven is seeking a Director of Housing
The Director of Housing reports to the Executive Vice President of Victim Services and oversees and directs the SafeLiving Department including re-housing, transitional and permanent supportive housing programs. This position is responsible for the management of rental assistance funds, the departmental budget, and ensuring the programs are meeting federal and local regulations.
The Director of Housing will design and implement strategies to engage landlords and property management entities, expanding housing options for clients and ensuring access to safe and stable housing opportunities. The role will be responsible for developing and regularly evaluating program policies and procedures to ensure the service delivery complies with grant and governing authorities' expectations.

The specific qualifications for this role are
- Master’s degree in social work, or related field preferred.
- 5 years of experience in the field of family violence, victim services or related work, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Experience with HUD Housing program required.
- Experience with volunteer management required.
- Knowledge of leasing, housing strategies and interventions, crisis intervention, social work theory; and ethics required.
- Current Texas Driver’s License Required. Must provide proof of automobile liability insurance.
- Semi-frequent travel locally by personal automobile.
