What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Representative position at Safepoint Scientific?
A. Purpose and Scope
The Sales Representative is responsible for being the principal point of contact between SafePoint Scientific and its current or prospective new customers. Reps will learn and present all products and services, identify new markets and customer, and work towards meeting and exceeding sales goals set by managerial team.
B. Responsibilities
- Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
- Negotiate and close agreements with future and current customers.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts and updates.
- Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities.
- Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with clients’ needs.
- Prepare and train new accounts utilizing any demo or beta systems.
Territory : Southern Sales Representative
C. Organization Relationships
The Senior Sales Representative reports to the National Sales Director.
JOB REQUIREMENTS :
A. Education and Training
The Sales Representative should have a two-year degree or equivalent work experience in a field that offers opportunity to gain a well-rounded background. Additional class work in management type courses and problem-solving techniques.
B. Technical Requirements
Three years of broad sales experience.
C. Experience
Two to Three years’ experience in managing sales personnel and complex activities.
