What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driving instructor - Teach teens to drive position at Safety First?
Driving instructor- No experience required can train.
You teach teens to drive in our dual controlled vehicles.
Weekly direct deposit
You must:
- be reliable!
- have a high level of integrity.
-have a clean driving record and have had your license for at least 5 years.
-Be able to pass a background check
-have a smart phone capable of loading apps (schedule), using gps, calling and texting
- complete the 40 hr Training course and all state testing (training and associated costs of licensing covered by the company)
- be responsible and reliable
- create a safe and fun learning environment
- Be available outside school hours (late afternoons, evenings, weekends) flexible but week days are not a possibility kids are in school.
- have basic vehicle knowledge ie how to check oil, put air in a tire, change a headlight bulb etc
Part time- could end up becoming full time down the line for the right person.
no experience starts at $16/hr after licensure for your first 90 days with a raise to $17/hr after As well as a $500 hiring bonus Paid after 90 days of employment.
Already licensed instructors can start at $18-20/hr based on length of experience, work history, and knowledge.
We’re a fun laid back environment. We encourage individuality.. tattoos, piercings etc are completely fine.
Perfect job for someone who works best independently, does not require constant supervision and can manage themselves and their time while making good decisions. Someone who is self motivated to do their job to the best of their ability.
We don’t work on major holidays: New Years, Easter, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, thanks giving, or Christmas.
