Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Driving Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in educating and training new drivers, ensuring they acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to operate vehicles safely and responsibly. This position requires excellent communication abilities, a passion for teaching, and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for students of all backgrounds.
Responsibilities
- Educate students on traffic laws, safe driving practices, and vehicle operation.
- Conduct behind-the-wheel training sessions
- Communicate effectively with students to assess their understanding and progress
- Provide constructive feedback to students on their driving performance.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessments.
- Ensure compliance with all state regulations regarding driver education.
- basic Vehicle maintenance ie .. checking oil, putting, air in tires, changing a light bulb
Skills
- Strong ability to educate and communicate complex information clearly.
- Experience in education or working with diverse student populations is preferred
- Excellent driving skills with a thorough understanding of vehicle operation and safety protocols.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods based on individual student needs.
