What are the responsibilities and job description for the West Regional Account Manager position at Safety Rail Company?
The Regional Account Manager at Safety Rail Company (SRC) is responsible for establishing business relationships and onboarding distributors, dealers, and other business entities to provide value and revenue for SRC. This role involves working closely with various teams, including the Regional Sales Director, Business Managers, Inside Sales Team, and Marketing team, to manage sales, develop marketing tools, and build training programs. This is a remote opportunity for anyone who can support our western region of the US. For this reason, we are looking for someone who is located west of the plain’s region and can work remotely.
What does this job entail?
- Report to and work closely with their Regional Sales Director and team to establish business relationships and onboarding of Distributors, Dealers, and other business entities that provide value and revenue for SRC.
- Consistently interact directly with SRC customers to assess needs and suggest appropriate solutions and services.
- Effectively utilize NetSuite software to manage leads and opportunities in real time while performing best practice behaviors and necessary sales tasks (quotes, sales orders, relevant documentation/note taking, appropriate completion of purchase orders, and processing quotes).
- Work directly with Business Managers and Inside Sales Team to manage sales and provide daily sales support.
- When appropriate and/or necessary partner closely with the Inside Sales Team for support and management of daily tasks (quotes, sales orders, relevant documentation/note taking, and appropriate completion of purchase orders).
- Work closely with Senior Sales Director and Marketing team to develop marketing tools and help to build training programs for new hires, customer engagement, and new products and processes.
- Identify potential Enterprise Account opportunities and immediately bring in EA team for collaboration.
- This position will work closely with the field services team, installation project managers (PMs), and manufacturing team.
- Positively promote SRC brand and represent the company with good character and fair and honest business practices.
- Complete quarterly business plans and review with Regional Sales Director.
- This opportunity has a base salary range of $70-85,000 and is complimented by a substantial commission potential of $20,000 to $40,000.
Are you qualified?
- 4 College degree and/or equivalent work experience.
- Prior sales/outstanding customer service experience.
- Candidate must live west of the plains and work a remotely.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport over the phone and virtually.
- Be a collaborative team player.
- Ability to problem solve creatively.
- Self-Motivated and target-driven with a passion for sales.
- Prior experience in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) or Construction/Building Materials Industry, preferred.
- Prior ERP experience, Oracle NetSuite preferred.
