Safra National Bank of New York is looking for an excellent Wire Transfer Specialist to process wire transfers in USD and FX.
Responsibilities:
- Process & release Swift Messages
- Dodd Frank 1073 experience
- Wire transfer investigation
- Input USD & FX Wire Transfer
- Process Incoming Wires
- Process General Ledger
- Attend to inquiries from Account Officers
Critical Experience required:
- Experience with the receipt, review and release of wire transfers from a back office dept. standpoint; preferably in Payplus
- Must have experience with wire transfers INVESTIGATIONS in USD & FX.Dodd Frank 1073 Experience
- Receipt, process and release of SWIFT messages:
- MT1xx
- MT9Xx
- Experience in the following would be a plus
- MT4xx
- MT7xx
- Experience with maintaining reporting and analytics tied to the wire room including performance metrics
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Computer skills: computer operations, word processing spreadsheet and account opening software. Jack Henry AS400, Payplus , Finanstra
Must have extensive experience with wire transfers in USD & FX , must have experience verifying and releasing wires from different payment channels
Multi-task between wire transfer back office functions.
Multi-task between wire transfer back-office functions. Must be able to work under pressure
Punctuality and an appropriate sense of time commitment and time management skills
Self-motivation
An awareness of appropriate behavior in all facets of professional interaction, and an ability to conduct oneself in an appropriate and professional matter at all times.
Must be able to work under pressure.
Digital Banking wire experience a plus
