What are the responsibilities and job description for the Revenue Cycle Manager position at Sage Counseling Inc?
SAGE Counseling is actively recruiting for a Full-Time Revenue Cycle Manager to oversee the agency's billing and financial team.
The Revenue Cycle Manager will:
- Oversee the billing of agency claims, follow-up, denials, payment posting, and private pay collections.
- Oversee the AHCCCS verification and discounted fee review process.
- Lead team of billing specialists who are responsible for submitting behavioral health claims from company EHR system and resolving denials, overpayments, timely filings, invalid denials, eligibility and duplicate and resubmitting corrected claims.
- Manage the workflow between the billing specialists and all internal and external resources.
This is a full-time position and works during regular business hours (typically, Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm, or similar hours).
This role has the opportunity to work remotely from home, but does require Arizona residence. Travel to SAGE offices in Maricopa county may be expected a few times a month.

Qualifications:
- Experience with Arizona Medicaid (AHCCCS), Managed Care Plans, and commercial payers required.
- Working knowledge of clearinghouse and payer portals.
- Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle management required and advanced critical thinking to see the larger picture through the details.
