SAGE Dining Services® is seeking talented and innovative Cooks to join our team at a gorgeous private school in Indianapolis. SAGE teams work together to provide safe, healthy, and varied meals that reflect the tastes and preferences of each community. Our culinary teams are talented individuals who know how to prepare and serve a great meal! Both our team and the school provide a welcoming environment.
You will work alongside creative, enthusiastic Team Members in a boutique kitchen who share your passion for culinary excellence while you are supported by a home office team that provides weekly pay, comprehensive year-round benefits, and continuous training. SAGE offers the opportunity to grow your knowledge, skills, career, and self.
You will make a difference in an academic community and bring excitement and community to the dining hall with made-from-scratch, Chef-inspired recipes that delight students, faculty, staff, and parents.
The kitchen follows the school schedule, so holidays and summers are off.

- Monday - Friday 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
- Holidays and summers off!
- Must be available for catering events.

- Ensure that all food is appropriately displayed and visually appealing.
- Interact positively with SAGE guests and Team Members.
- Use proper food handling, storage, and sanitation techniques (HAACP).
- Experience with cooking in a commercial kitchen.
- Ability to understand and execute recipes and instructions in English.
- Ability to interact with SAGE guests and Team Members in a professional and positive manner.
