SAGE Dining Services® is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Operations Specialist to join our dynamic Human Resources team in our home office in Lutherville, MD. The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual with excellent communication skills and a strong ability to manage complex administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment. In this hands-on role, you’ll be at the heart of HR operations, managing crucial HR processes and tasks that keep our operations running while ensuring accuracy and compliance.

What you'll do :
Utilize strong knowledge of HR operations and policies to accurately address employee questions and concerns.
Support key HR processes, including document preparation and consistent process execution.
Ensure accurate entry, updating, and maintenance of confidential employee data in HR systems, adhering to all applicable regulations and staying informed on HR legislation.
Work independently to resolve issues and provide solutions.
Suggest system and process enhancements based on best practices, pain points, and data analysis.
Manage regular data audit program and resolve issues.
Prepare reports and presentations for management.
Respond to inquiries from agencies on unemployment claims, and process other required paperwork.
Handle a high volume of calls, emails, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Lead and participate in special projects and provide hands-on support in all areas of HR.
Contribute to the development and implementation of HR initiatives and projects.
Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with all team members, promoting a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
Commit to continuously improving our processes and employee experience through operational excellence and top-notch service.
What you'll need :

College degree or equivalent work experience.
Familiarity with HR software and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
