POSITION SUMMARY:
The Distribution Center Manager oversees the daily operations of a 500,000 sq. ft. facility, ensuring warehouse activities are executed efficiently, accurately, and safely. This role focuses on people management, process improvement, and achieving KPIs for receiving, inventory accuracy, and outbound shipments.

Essential Functions:
· Oversee all aspects of warehouse performance aligned with company goals.
· Develop and enforce procedures that drive productivity, accuracy, and profitability.
· Ensure on-time receipts, inventory accuracy, and timely, quality customer shipments.
· Establish and monitor KPIs and cross-training to support a high-performing team.
· Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities across operations.
· Investigate root causes of operational issues and implement corrective actions.
· Maintain strict inventory control through routine cycle counts and checks.
· Ensure workplace safety through compliance with OSHA, MSDS, and internal policies.
· Facilitate forklift certification compliance and maintain a clean, safe working environment.
· Provide ongoing training and development for all warehouse team members.
· Track performance metrics daily, weekly, and monthly for internal reporting.
· Lead special projects and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service and profitability.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Competencies:
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (Microsoft NAV preferred)
· Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and FDA compliance standards
· Strong leadership, team-building, and talent development skills
· Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
· Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Strong customer service orientation, particularly with external clients
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred or equivalent experience.
Experience:
· 3–5 years’ management experience in warehouse operations, inventory control.
· Proven ability managing teams of 100 employees and 10 direct reports
· 5 years of experience in distribution, cross-docking, replenishment, and logistics
Computer Skills: Intermediate-Advanced proficient with systems (i.e.: Microsoft products; warehouse management systems, ERP system etc).

In addition to the above listed minimum requirements, candidates who possess the following skills, experience, and capabilities may receive greater consideration during the evaluation process:
· Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish)
Other Requirements:
· Must be able and available to have the flexibility to work all shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays
· Must be able to lift and move up to 50lbs

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
