About the Role
Sagebrush Energy is hiring a detail-oriented Site Surveyor to assess residential homes for upcoming solar installations. You’ll collect key data about the roof structure, electrical system, and layout—helping our design and permitting teams build accurate, code-compliant solar systems. Roofing experience is a big plus and will help ensure our installs are clean and structurally sound.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit job sites prior to installation to collect accurate measurements, photos, and site details.
- Document roof type, pitch, obstructions, and structural conditions.
- Conduct attic inspections and structural evaluations (e.g., rafter/truss spacing).
- Perform basic electrical assessments (panel capacity, breaker space, conduit path).
- Input survey data into digital templates or platforms (e.g., Solo, Aurora, Scanifly or company CRM).
- Communicate effectively with design and operations teams for project prep.
Qualifications
- 1 years of field surveying, roofing, solar, or construction experience.
- Comfortable on roofs and ladders; strong safety awareness.
- Ability to read construction drawings and understand structural elements.
- Experience with tablets or mobile apps for site data collection.
- Roofing, solar install, or framing background preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Pay: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 45 per week
