About the Opportunity: We are a trailblazer in financial technology, specializing in mortgage servicing through innovative SaaS-based solutions. As a key contributor to our dynamic Product department, we are seeking an accomplished Product Business Analyst to lead and shape the strategic direction of our products and services.
Your day-to-day at Sagent:
Business Analysis and Research:
- Conduct in-depth research and data analysis of the business landscape, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of complex business requirements.
- Utilize a strong theoretical knowledge base to autonomously achieve project goals, contributing significantly to the enhancement of our products and services.
Functional Expertise and Leadership:
- Exhibit specific functional expertise, acquired through formal education and extensive work experience.
- Provide guidance to others as a Lead or individual contributor project manager, demonstrating leadership and technical prowess.
Product Design and Enhancement:
- Identify strategic steps to improve business outcomes for our products and services, leading the design of new features for seamless implementation.
- Champion the creation and design of innovative features, actively contributing to the evolution of our product portfolio.
Impact Analysis and Decision Support:
- Analyze and evaluate the impact of implementing new features, offering critical insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Identify and assess business opportunities, making informed recommendations to drive continuous improvement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate effectively with leadership at all levels and across departments, fostering cross-functional cooperation and communication.
- Work seamlessly with all levels of leadership to ensure alignment of product strategies with broader organizational goals.
We would love to hear from you if you have:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or relevant discipline with 4 - 6 years of experience in a related field. Experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Proven leadership experience in conducting comprehensive research and data analysis to understand intricate business requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to provide guidance and leadership as a Lead or individual contributor, utilizing technical expertise.
- Track record of driving the design and implementation of new features to enhance product functionality.
- Expertise in impact analysis, ensuring alignment of new features with strategic business objectives.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Previous experience with invoice management software preferable
- Strong expertise in ADO (Azure DevOps) for project management and collaboration.
- Proficiency in creating user features and user stories to guide software development.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with diverse stakeholders.
