HUMAN RESOURCES COORDINATOR
SUMMARY OF POSITION : The Human Resources Coordinator supports the Human Resources Department by facilitating human resources and payroll processes for the Carrollton Public School District. This role also provides administrative support to the Director of Human Resources and the Central Office while serving as the point of contact for recruitment, benefits, payroll, and other Human Resources-related matters.
REPORTS TO : Director of Human Resources
WORK YEAR : 52 weeks / year.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT : Full-time, Hourly; Non-union
COMPENSATION : $19.23 to $24.52 per hour
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field or equivalent experience.
- At least two years of related experience is required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with others.
- Ability to accurately interpret and communicate policy and collective bargaining agreement language.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Working understanding of human resource and payroll principles, practices, and procedures.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced environment.
- Proficient with Human Resource Management, Microsoft Office, Google, and related software.
- Must satisfactorily pass : Law enforcement background check with fingerprinting.
Personal and professional reference background check.
