Responsibilities
- Develop and implement practice schedules, training programs, and game strategies for the Freshman Football team.
- Conduct regular practices, focusing on skill development, teamwork, and game preparation.
- Monitor and evaluate player performance, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Foster a positive team culture that emphasizes sportsmanship, respect, and personal growth.
- Communicate effectively with players, parents, and school administration regarding team activities, expectations, and player progress.
- Organize and manage team logistics, including transportation, equipment, and game-day preparations.
- Collaborate with other coaching staff to promote a cohesive athletic program.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant rules, regulations, and safety protocols.
- Encourage academic achievement and personal development among players.
- Attend coaching clinics and workshops to stay updated on best practices and strategies in football coaching.
- Previous coaching experience, particularly at the high school or youth level, is highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in physical education, sports management, or a related field preferred.
- Strong knowledge of football techniques, strategies, and rules.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Commitment to the academic and athletic development of student-athletes.
- First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required for practices and games.
