HR Generalist
Job Overview : Our Iowa City client, in construction, is seeking a dedicated and dynamic HR Generalist to provide comprehensive HR support to employees and managers. This role involves managing various aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and training and development. What you will be doing as a HR Generalist...
- Support the recruitment and hiring process, including creating job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making recommendations for hires.
- Facilitate the onboarding process by educating new employees on company policies, benefits, and culture.
- Assist in conducting performance reviews and collaborate with managers to create and implement performance improvement plans.
- Administer compensation and benefits programs, including payroll, health insurance, and retirement plans.
- Provide guidance to employees regarding HR-related matters, such as leaves of absence, employee relations, and disciplinary issues.
- Organize and coordinate employee training and development programs.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Maintain and update employee records in compliance with company standards.
- Stay informed about current HR trends, laws, and best practices.
