- Provide front-desk coverage by managing a busy, multiline phone system, greeting guests as they enter the office, managing incoming/outgoing mail and shipments, and maintaining an organized, clean office environment.
- Plan, organize, and schedule Advancement department meetings in the office, off-site, and via videoconference.
- Order and oversee office supplies and food deliveries for group meetings.
- Monitor and maintain department budgets, and prepare related expense reports and reimbursements.
- Maintain calendars including scheduling of departmental meetings and those related to the Advancement Committee of the Board of Regents, President’s Visiting Committee and capital campaign committee as necessary.
- Record, type and distribute meeting minutes for Board of Regent Advancement Committee meetings.
- Assemble and distribute meeting materials, agendas, as requested and quarterly board report.
- Maintain complete stock of all office supplies and accuracy of inventory.
- Other duties as required.
- Excellent telephone and in-person communication skills.
- Proficient use of Raiser’s Edge software or equivalent CRM software.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite, web and on-line communities, and social media.
- Proficient Business Writing skills to handle routine correspondence and customer business proposals.

Saint Ignatius High School, a highly successful Jesuit college preparatory school for boys in Cleveland, Ohio, is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant in the Advancement Office. This position will provide high-level administrative support for the vice president for institutional advancement, director of special events and major gift officers; contribute ideas and suggestions as necessary to improve program functions; help develop and maintain relationships with prospects, donors, alumni, and friends with respect to the long-range advancement mission. This position reports directly to the VP of Advancement.
The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded, customer-service oriented, engaging person who can efficiently respond to the needs of the Advancement office and offer a welcoming presence to prospective donors, benefactors and clients. This is a part time, 12-month position working throughout the calendar year.

About Saint Ignatius High School:
Saint Ignatius High School, which opened its doors September 6, 1886, is a Jesuit college-preparatory school. The school enrolls more than 1,400 young men who hail from 92 cities in an 11-county region. Located in close proximity to downtown Cleveland in the vibrant and energetic Ohio City neighborhood, the school occupies 23 acres and includes 19 buildings and three athletic fields. The school has 114 faculty members, 89 percent of whom hold advanced degrees. Fifty-six percent have spent 10 years or more teaching at Saint Ignatius.
Saint Ignatius is also home to The Welsh Academy, a middle school for boys from local families of modest economic means, founded in 2019. The academy enrolls more than 60 boys in grades 6-8 and occupies Kesicki Hall on campus.
