The Home Child Care Network, part of SAL Community Services, is the Quad Cities area’s leading provider of early childhood care and education. We provide a safe, secure and supportive environment centered on how playing can charge the mind of the children we care for.

As a Home Child Care Network (HCCN) Family Child Care Specialist on our team, you will work with licensed, home child care providers. This means you’ll do things like:

  • Collaborate with existing agencies and coordinate the Child Care Assistance Program services for Home Child Care Network families on an as needed basis.
  • Monitor Home Child Care Network Illinois Department of Human Services enrolled client child care cases, ensuring that all necessary paperwork and case documentation is collected and proper co-payments are assigned according to Illinois Department of Human Services policy.
  • Oversee and finalize state and agency billing processes for home child care providers for the Illinois Department of Human Services and Home Child Care Network.
  • Troubleshoot first level IT issues with Home Child Care Network staff and refer staff to IT as needed.
  • Ensure documentation entered into the ProCare database by Office and Billing Specialists is accurate and up to date.
  • Provide coaching and ongoing support to Office and Billing Specialist on front desk operation procedures and vendor questions.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. A full list of job responsibilities will be provided prior to an interview. Education And Experience

Required: Associates degree in business or related field with 2 years office experience. In lieu of a degree no less than 4 years office experience. Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or business with 4 years of office experience.
