Sales Hatch is partnering with a leading supplier of chlor-alkali products and industrial gases to a wide range of industries. We are seeking a skilled Inside Sales Representative to drive business growth and foster strong customer relationships. This role offers a dynamic opportunity for a motivated sales professional to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
- Identify and engage potential clients through proactive outreach and assigned leads.
- Provide customized solutions, including product recommendations, technical services, and marketing support.
- Guide new customers through the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition from setup to initial orders.
- Coordinate with internal teams, including Customer Service, Transportation, and Production, to efficiently meet customer needs.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, tracking interactions, quotes, and sales progress.
- Assist in developing competitive pricing strategies and freight estimates.
- Promote CRM best practices and provide training and support to colleagues as needed.
- Support bid and pricing functions as required, gaining valuable cross-functional experience.
- Adhere to safety protocols and EHSS standards.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in business or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of sales and/or marketing experience, preferably within the chemical industry.
- Strong understanding of chemical products, markets, and industry applications.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage customers effectively.
- Self-motivated professional with strong business acumen, negotiation skills, and a strategic mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe software.
- Experience with Chempax or similar ERP systems is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative sales environment.
- Willingness to travel up to 10%.
