Ette Hotels is a boutique hotel in the heart of Orlando which provides guests with an intimate
and personalized experience. Known for exceptional service and attention to detail, we pride
ourselves on creating unforgettable stays for our guests. We are seeking a detail-oriented and
experienced Accountant to join our team and oversee the financial operations of our property.
Position Summary:
The Accountant will manage and maintain the financial health of our boutique hotel, ensuring
accuracy in financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and the smooth operation of
accounting processes. This role will play a critical part in supporting our business goals through
meticulous financial management and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting:
o Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
o Generate reports on revenue, expenses, and profitability.
o Reconcile bank statements and other accounts regularly.
Accounts Payable/Receivable:
o Manage invoices, payments, and collections to ensure timely processing.
o Oversee vendor relationships and resolve any discrepancies.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
o Assist in creating annual budgets and financial forecasts.
o Monitor actual performance against budgets and suggest corrective actions.
Payroll Management:
o Process payroll accurately and in compliance with federal and state regulations.
o Maintain records related to employee compensation and benefits.
Tax Compliance:
o Prepare and file tax returns, including sales and occupancy taxes.
o Stay updated on tax laws applicable to the hospitality industry.
Collaboration:
o Work closely with the General Manager to provide financial insights and support
decision-making.
o Partner with department heads to track and control costs effectively.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Finance
CPA certification (preferred)
Experience: 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in the hospitality industry
Skills:
o Proficiency in Quickbooks and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
o Strong written and verbal communication skills.
o Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
o Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy

Pay: $65,000.00 per year
