We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Café Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our café. Duties
- Manage daily café operations, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient service.
- Supervise and train staff, including baristas and kitchen personnel, to uphold quality standards.
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.
- Ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations.
- Develop and implement training programs for new hires to enhance their skills in food preparation and customer service.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to create menu items that align with customer preferences and seasonal offerings.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café environment, including dining areas and kitchen spaces.
Skills
- Proven experience in food service management or a similar role within the food industry.
- Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
- Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and beverage crafting.
- Experience in banquet management is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and staff.
- Ability to train staff on food handling practices and safety protocols.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment operation, including cooking appliances.
- Previous experience as an assistant manager or in a hotel setting is advantageous.
