What are the responsibilities and job description for the Collection Center Attendant position at Salvation Army - ARC?
The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Collection Center Attendant to be responsible for all matters pertaining to the operations and security of the Certified Collection Center (CCC).
The Collection Center Attendant will receive and receipt (per policy) all donated material courteously and efficiently, safeguard all donated material and assigned equipment, advise donors of unacceptable materials, maintain neatness and cleanliness of the collection center and surrounding area, and sort and load trailers. The Collection Center Attendant will also be responsible to ensure that no unauthorized personnel enter the Collection Center, that no merchandise is kept, sold or otherwise diverted without direction from Administrator(s), and that complaints, damage, and unsafe conditions are reported to supervisor immediately.
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent customer service skills, and be able to lift 100 pounds.
