What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping Inspector position at Salvatore's Hospitality?
The Garden Place Hotel is hiring for a housekeeping inspector. In this position, you will be responsible for checking 40-75 rooms a day, depending on the hotel's occupancy. You will be required to move frequently, be able to work well on a schedule for cleaning rooms/common areas of the hotel, and have excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
- Open and close the housekeeping department.
- Inspect every room individually to ensure that the cleanliness of the room meets company standards.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas.
- Help to solve guest complaints.
- When needed assist with making beds/changing linens, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, showers, toilets, sinks, and countertops, and replenishing toiletries and towels.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and report any maintenance issues.
- Follow all health and safety regulations while carrying out cleaning duties.
