Who You Are
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Team Lead to lead and manage our QA department. This individual will ensure compliance with ISO and FDA regulations, oversee quality processes, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate is a proven leader with hands-on experience in managing audits, handling Out of Specification (OOS) results, implementing Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs), and maintaining a robust quality system.
What You'll Do
- Regulatory Compliance: Lead and manage ISO and FDA audits, ensuring full compliance with all applicable standards and regulations.
- Quality System Oversight: Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems (QMS) to meet ISO, FDA, and customer requirements.
- OOS and CAPA Management: Investigate and resolve Out of Specification (OOS) results; initiate, implement, and monitor CAPAs to address non-conformances.
- Department Leadership: Manage and mentor the QA team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Documentation and Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all QA processes, investigations, and quality improvements. Prepare and submit reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Product Quality: Collaborate with production, R&D, and supply chain teams to ensure product quality meets customer and regulatory expectations.
- Training and Development: Provide training for QA staff and other departments on regulatory updates, quality standards, and best practices.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality Assurance, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of QA experience in personal care, cosmetics, or a similar manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience leading ISO and FDA audits.
- Expertise in OOS investigations, CAPA implementation, and quality systems.
- Strong leadership and departmental management skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
